The Auckland Motorcycle Club Summer Series recommences this Sunday at Hampton Downs for Round Three on the 2.7km National Circuit.

A strong entry is anticipated, as the track time will be valuable for national title contenders — who will compete on the same circuit just 3 weeks later — for the final Round of the NZSBK Superbike Championships.
On the back of the Suzuki Series in December, and the first two Rounds of the NZSBK National Championship in the South Island in January, it is a busy schedule coming in to the tail-end of the season.
However, this Sunday is all about the AMCC Club Series titles, and look for competition across a range of classes. Formula One, Formula Three and Pro Twin 650 are all wide open, but the reality is virtually all classes are too close to call with two rounds remaining.
Post Classics and the Carl Cox Motorsport Hyosung Cup round out a full programme of events.
Qualifying starts at 09:00, and racing gets under way at 11:00.
